New health update….

I hope that this note finds you and yours happy and well. It has been quite a long time since I have offered a health update regarding my prolonged illness. I was reluctant to write as my case remained undiagnosed… until today.

I received a call this morning from a specialist in Birmingham, Alabama confirming that I do have cancer in my tongue and neck. I do not know much more than that at this point. He did mention that chemo and radiation therapies are just around the corner for me.

I greatly appreciate the love and support that I have received from so many of you. Thank you for your prayers as I begin the treatment process.

As always, if you should think of me, please pray for the precious families that are being served through Laughing Child. May Father continue to draw near to us in and through all of our circumstances. Thank you for caring and praying as you do. You lift my spirit and strengthen my bones to push forward for God’s glory and the healing of the broken.
